A leading injury law firm has extended its lease on a Cardiff office scheme in a deal secured by joint agents Cooke & Arkwright. Thompsons Solicitors has signed up to a new ten year lease for 8,192 sq ft on three floors at Agincourt House, part of a 71,000 sq ft city centre courtyard scheme, Fitzalan Court on Newport Road.
Ben Bolton, Associate Director in charge of Office agency said, “A recent decision by the landlord to rationalise the service charge costs of the estate has given Fitzalan Court a significant advantage when compared to other similar schemes in the city, which have been stifled by high service charge costs.
“We are presently in talks with a number of other parties who have expressed a strong interest in offices.”
Thompsons Solicitors has had a presence in Cardiff for 40 years and describes itself as ‘the most experienced personal injury law firm in the UK.’ Last year, law firm MLM Cartwright also agreed to extend its lease on the whole of Pendragon House within the scheme.
