Llandegfedd Sailing Club has become one of the premier assymetric racing clubs in the country, home to the world’s largest RS Vareo and International Canoe fleets.  Competitive Club and Open racing can be found throughout the season.

Llandegfedd hopes to play its part in the development of future Olympic sailing stars, helping to introduce youngsters to the sport and develop them to their full potential.  Llandegfedd Reservoir is over a mile long and 3/4 mile wide, and the club, which was founded in 1968, is described as ‘one of the best kept secrets in Wales’.  The club has plans to build a visitor centre and planning permission has been granted for a watersports centre.
