Helen Jones, Managing Director of 123 Jump said, “We have spent two years developing our indoor play concept and researching the most suitable towns and cities for such centres. We are very excited that our first and largest is opening in Cardiff where more than 30 full- and part-time staff will be employed. This is one of the best equipped adventure and indoor play facilities in the UK. Jump provides a safe, but very stimulating environment which promotes lots of activity and learning for children aged 1 to 12, as well as encouraging parents and carers to play and interact with their children.”

Resources include special play zones such as an enchanted kingdom, a pirate’s galleon and a spaceship, as well as ten pin bowling, trampolines and a football pitch, all designed to encourage children to create their own games and play with children of a similar age. There are 6 themed party rooms to make Jump the perfect place for children to celebrate. A party coordinator will provide party games, face paints, discos or football sessions. A separate sensory room is provided for those with special needs Also on site are a cafe and fresh juice bar serving healthy food that is not packed with sugar, fats or E numbers, as well as party rooms, an internet cafe and interactive educational games.

David Cochlin of Cooke & Arkwright said, “We are delighted to have been able to acquire substantial premises for Jump in Cardiff, which is their first in the UK and a flagship for five more that they plan to open over the next two years. We are certainly impressed with what they have created here.” Jump has joined forces with the adjacent premises, Llanishen Arena, to invest over £1.5m in providing football facilities, bars and a restaurant as entertainment and socialising venues for the whole family.
