Email:

William has been with Cooke & Arkwright since June 2005 and is based in the Cardiff office retail team dealing with development, agency and landlord and tenant work.

In January 2008 William won the “Young Property Personality” award at the Insider Property Awards due to his involvement in a number of projects where he provided development consultancy advice.

The development side involves acquiring, advising and disposing of retail developments throughout South Wales through market knowledge gained in dealing with both agency and landlord and tenant work. The most recent project has been acting on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government and Caerphilly County Borough Council providing them with consultancy advice and marketing with regard to the Bargoed retail regeneration scheme.

The retail agency side involves acquiring properties for national and regional clients throughout South Wales and the Borders, as well as disposing of leases and acquiring and selling freehold properties, leading to an active involvement and knowledge of the main retail centres in this area.

The landlord and tenant work involves negotiating and settling rent reviews and lease renewals on behalf of national tenants such as Greggs the Bakers, the Principality Building Society, and Wales Air Ambulance amongst others, in addition to local landlords and tenants throughout various high streets in South Wales.

William graduated with honours in Property Agency and Marketing from the Royal Agricultural College in 2005 and is a member of The Royal Institute of Charted Surveyors.

Outside of the office, William is a keen sportsman, including rugby, golf, surfing and snowboarding.

William is a fluent Welsh speaker.
